Friendly, professional service. Our mechanic was unable to diagnose an air-conditioner problem in our car and recommended that we take it into Mr Cool. It turned out that the entire compressor needed to be replaced, at substantial cost, and we decided not to go ahead due to the age of the car. Margaret @ Mr. Cool was extremely understanding and we were not charged for the time spent diagnosing the problem. A great business that understands customer service – would highly recommend!

Fantastic business and a pleasure to deal with. AC system on my ’07 Golf R32 was failing and after attempts at replacing valves, gaskets and recharges from other workshops, it was still not cooling.
Mr Cool identified the problem immediately and quoted me on repairs. Luckily the vehicle was still covered under an extended warranty policy, and Margaret (who is knowledgeable, helpful and polite) dealt with the insurance company directly to have the vehicle’s entire AC system replaced.
The workshop was able to account for my difficult work hours, and I was able to pick up the vehicle after hours from them at my convenience. The result was fantastic, vehicle was clean, AC works great (still does) and I could speak to the mechanic working on my car to explain exactly what was happening and how they were progressing.

Honest, efficient & friendly! I brought in my car the other day as my aircon was making these weird sounds and the whole dashboard was vibrating whenever I increased the speed of the fan or lowered the temperature. My mechanic, i.e. Midas had told me the blower motor needed replacing and had quoted me $900 for the job. I called the guys at Mr Cool on a friend’s recommendation. They looked into it and it turned out no repairs were needed.
My RACQ card which was stored next to the battery (recently replaced by RACQ) had somehow fell into the a/c. They took it out, gave my blower motor a clean and put it back up, all for free and this on the same day. I was genuinely impressed by their honesty, the quality of their service and the friendliness of the staff!
